Dutch milk brand Friso and Watsons Hong Kong have launched Tin2Green, an initiative encouraging consumers to recycle milk powder tins at Watsons stores across Hong Kong.
Friso initially launched the campaign for its milk powder tins with the reverse vending machine recycling program. Now, in partnership with Watsons, they aim to make recycling more accessible by accepting all brands of used milk powder tins.
Participants who are MoneyBack members will receive one Tin2Green Reward e-stamp for each returned milk powder tin. For every 10 e-stamps, they can redeem a HK$10 Watsons e-coupon.
“This program not only aims to provide convenience to citizens but also integrates recycling habits into their daily routines,” said the collaborative. “Together, we can build a greener future.”
